The first high-temperature superconducting low-voltage DC cable in China was connected to the grid and put into operation in Suzhou, Jiangsu on the 20th, filling the gap in the application of superconducting cables in low-voltage DC systems in China. Compared with AC superconducting cables, its line loss is reduced by about 70%. The application of direct current superconducting transmission technology injects strong impetus into the construction of new power systems and energy transformation and upgrading.
